Healthcare AI-OT Technician (2-Year)
The Diploma in Operation Theatre Technician (OTT) is available through Open & Distance Learning (ODL), offering students a flexible, technology-enhanced learning experience. This program prepares learners to work closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing teams in operation theatres while providing essential knowledge of Healthcare AI relevant to today’s clinical settings.
Students develop key skills in preparing OT environments, handling and managing surgical instruments, assisting during procedures, and ensuring strict sterilization and infection control standards. In addition to core OT training, the program introduces learners to Healthcare AI applications, including digital health tools, AI-supported clinical workflows, data literacy, and other emerging technologies increasingly utilized in hospitals.
By combining traditional OT expertise with modern digital and AI competencies, this diploma equips graduates for careers in hospitals, surgical centers, trauma and emergency units, and other healthcare organizations adopting advanced, AI-enabled systems—both in Pakistan and internationally.
